Training and instructional design

Accessibility training
To advance accessibility practices within an organization, you must build the knowledge and competency of your team. Our accessibility training and instructional design services make it easier to extend learning and grow understanding within your teams. For any organization, building knowledge and capacity is key to becoming an accessible organization.
We offer a catalogue of engaging training workshops designed and delivered by learning and development professionals with lived experience of disability and a deep knowledge of accessibility. Our accessible instructional design services also help organizations build internal capacity and confidence around accessibility through customized, purpose-designed training.
Training sessions
We offer in-person and virtual training sessions that improve accessibility awareness and support a cultural shift for organizations. The length and format of any session can be customized to fit your organization’s budget and capacity. We recommend 90-minute sessions at a minimum to allow for active learning elements such as polls, group discussions, and independent reflection activities.
Our training sessions can be customized to ensure we’re meeting your team where they are on their journey. We offer general sessions for everyone in your organization and more specialized sessions that focus on particular departments or business areas.

Accessible instructional design
Our instructional design process embraces the disability justice principle of “Nothing about us without us” and ensures all your learners can access your curriculum.
We help our clients design learning experiences that consider a diversity of learning styles. We provide accessibility subject matter expertise and technical knowledge to create online courses that conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards.
